Happy Father's Day!

Happy Father's Day!

This weekend, dads everywhere will be celebrated for the important, powerful role they play in the lives of their families. Of all my thousands of positive memories of my late father, one that stands out is his consistently positive affirmation of me as his son. I have no idea where I would be, or what I would be, without his loving support.

Our Prayer for Religious Freedom

Our Prayer for Religious Freedom

This week we celebrate what He is doing in bringing renewal to our nation and across the world! On Monday, the United States Supreme Court ruled in favor of baker Jack Phillips, who refused to violate his deeply held religious belief, in what was a momentous victory for religious liberty here in our country! We are grateful that the courts ruled to protect religious freedom! God is answering our prayers!

The International Christian Concern (ICC) hosted their annual “Policy Day” event Tuesday, June 5, in the United States Capitol Building. United States Recognizes Jerusalem as Capital

United States Recognizes Jerusalem as Capital

What a historic week this has been!!  Thank you for uniting in prayer to cover my brief trip to Israel!

I can’t begin to tell you how significant this occasion was to our Republic, the State of Israel, and for the Center For National Renewal.  As an honored guest, I accompanied the US delegation representing the faith community to share in the dedication ceremony for our new US Embassy in Jerusalem.  I was able to connect with leaders and influencers from every sphere of culture– sharing the heart of our mission and representing you as a part of our NatRenewPrayer team!  PLUS, Pastor Deamon Scapin, our CFNR Director, also represented YOU at The White House for a special live viewing of the dedication.  YOU were represented in BOTH DC’s – Washington AND David’s Capital!

Unity for Our Country Part 2

Unity for Our Country Part 2

Tomorrow is the National Day of Prayer. God’s people all around the nation will unite in prayer for renewal and revival in our land.  Last week, I shared specific points of prayer for unity in our nation.  Today, I’d like to share one final prayer target AND I’m including the National Prayer, which will be prayed by millions tomorrow.

Unity for Our Country Part 1

Unity for Our Country Part 1

This week – and next – I’m calling us to band together in concerted prayer for God to bring an outpouring of UNITY in our nation.  There are many issues of concern, problems to confront, and decisions ahead for our nation, so we may experience a genuine and lasting renewal.  However, NOTHING will more significantly impact our nation for good, than an outpouring of a spirit of UNITY.  In fact, it will be the theme of this year’s National Day of Prayer on Thursday, May 3, 2018.

Yom Ha'atzmaut

Yom Ha'atzmaut

Yesterday was Yom Ha'atzmaut, when the State of Israel celebrates Independence Day. According to the Jewish calendar, Israel is celebrating its 70th year since its rebirth. The survival of the Jewish people, the revival of their ancient language, and their return to their ancestral land is one of the greatest miracles in recorded history.

Happy Birthday, Thomas Jefferson!

Today, we celebrate the birthday of Thomas Jefferson, an American Founding Father, principal author of the Declaration of Independence, and the third President of the United States.

Of all the titles given to Jefferson – the ways in which he is held in high regard – my favorite, is that he is often called an ‘apostle of liberty.’ For I believe, that it is by the inspiration of God, and His providence, that this man would indelibly write our religious freedom into our nation’s founding documents and champion their preservation.
